Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 June 2026
Daizy is a founder-led digital studio. We design and build websites, mobile apps, and marketing campaigns, and we run our own AI tools. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use daizy.co.in or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We keep data collection to the minimum we need to do good work and stay in touch. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever.
01 Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give us — your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, business details, and anything you tell us about your project through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
- Information collected automatically — basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you view, gathered through analytics to help us understand and improve the site.
02 How we use your information
We use the information you share to:
- Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or audit
- Deliver the services you've agreed to and keep you updated on progress
- Send invoices and handle payments
- Improve our website and understand how it's used
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
03 Our legal basis for using your data
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interest in running and improving the studio, and to meet our legal obligations — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.
04 Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics to understand traffic and improve the experience. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.
05 When we build systems for you
When we build a website, app, or automation that handles your own customers' data, you remain in control of that data (the "controller") and we act on your instructions (the "processor"). We only use that data to build, deliver, and support the work we've agreed, and never for our own purposes.
06 Third-party services we rely on
To run our business we use trusted providers — for hosting, analytics, email, and advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, and tools such as Supabase. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We choose reputable partners, but we aren't responsible for how third parties handle your data on their own platforms.
07 How we protect your data
We use HTTPS encryption, limit who can access your information, and follow sensible security practices. No system is ever completely secure, but we take protecting your data seriously, and if a breach ever affects you, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
08 How long we keep it
- Enquiries — kept while we're in touch and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Project records and invoices — kept as long as we need them for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
- Analytics data — kept for a limited period only.
- You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
09 Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or object to or restrict how we use it. Just email us and we'll respond within a reasonable time — we aim for 30 days. You also have the right to raise a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
10 Marketing
We'll only send you marketing messages if you've opted in, and you can opt out at any time. Service messages — like quotes, invoices, and project updates — will still reach you because they're part of the work.
11 Children's privacy
Our services are for businesses and people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children, and we'll delete it if we discover we have.
12 Links to other sites
Our site and our work may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices, so we'd encourage you to read their policies before sharing anything with them.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know directly where we can.
14 Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, email us at info@daizy.co.in. We aim to acknowledge messages within a few business days and resolve any concern as quickly as we can. Daizy is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
